We are looking to establish a long-term relationship with a freelance copy writer for article re-writes and new content creation. This is a part-time job, and is only available to U.S. citizens. Please do not send promotions for content created overseas.

TURNAROUND REQUIREMENTS
1 day for article re-write
2-3 days for new content creation, or as the project size permits

Engaging writing and knowledge of writing for the web (“scannable” content) is very important.

REQUIREMENTS:
Background or Degree in English/Communications/Journalism
Experience writing for multiple mediums including but not limited to Web, print, & public relations
Relevant search engine writing experience is preferred
Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading and editing skills including grammar, punctuation, usage, spelling, and style
Strong presentation and research skills – Work that requires significant research will have additional compensation.
Portfolio of writing samples prior to interview

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage incoming copy requests related to all internal and client based projects; organize tasks to create efficient work flow and use resources effectively
Ensure consistent copy across all advertising mediums for client campaigns
Ensure that all project finals are properly proofed before publishing
Suggest copy to update previous work (also creates more potential income for you)
Ensure that all Web site copy is routinely edited and updated
Communicate with Project Manager to ensure all copy needs are delivered in a manner that allows projects to stay on schedule including ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
