[Organization] is a non-profit organization that provides education programs and curriculum to Pre K-12 schools nationwide. [Org.]‘s sustainability campaigns have garnered tremendous success with millions of students participating from across the country.

Position Overview:

[Org.] is seeking a talented teacher and writer to develop, write, and facilitate online courses in green building. Courses will include components in the following areas: energy resources and conservation, site/landscape, water resources and conservation, materials resources and indoor environmental quality. The online course will include multimedia features, a comprehensive automated audit checklist, etc.

Applicants should be able to commute to Walpole, MA. Some telecommuting is allowed. For more information visit [Organization]

Qualifications:

Preferred Education: Masters

Minimum 5 years teaching experience required. The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience and expertise as a science teacher (grades 9-12, environmental science a plus). Extensive curriculum development and technical writing experience a must for this project. Candidate must have experience aligning curriculum with standards/curriculum frameworks, as well as, integrating technology into the classroom as an instruction tool. Ability to modify curriculum for middle school students is required.

Advanced degree in science preferred. Background in instructional technology (i.e. online courses; website development) preferred. A strong familiarity with Microsoft Word and excellent writing and communications skills is required for this position.
