Six Sigma Consultant – Black Belt – Telecommuting Opportunity – Minnetonka, MN 55343

This position employs Six Sigma methodology and analytics to improve organizational operations to accomplish business objectives. Operational Excellence black belts will develop six sigma projects to include data mining, analysis, implementation of selected solutions and tracking project results. Work with Six Sigma professionals in planning, designing, and completing these key projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Managing projects around operational efficiency

* Developing reports and evaluating data around efficiencies

* Managing cross functional project teams

* Developing and maintaining timelines, managing resources, monitoring roadblocks and maintaining project deliverables

* Delivering presentations summarizing project findings to executive audiences

* Using Six Sigma and Lean evaluation techniques to provide data summaries

* Employs Six Sigma methodology and analytics into organizational operations in order to accomplish business objectives.

* Works with Six Sigma-certified professionals in the planning, designing, and accomplishing of key projects.

* Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise.

* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

* 2+ years experience in any or all of the following; project management, data analysis, operations, technical analysis, etc.

* Intermediate level of skill with Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint

* Experience building and developing reports

* Strong communications skills; ability to navigate a matrixed environment

* Comfortable managing through ambiguity

Assets:

* Green belt or Black belt certification is ideal

* Experience with UNET or other UHG legacy systems is a plus

* MS Access skills preferred

* Experience working in healthcare, finance and/or analytics is preferred
