A small internet-based professional services startup seeks an expert-level PHP/mySQL programmer to complete a site on a contract basis. The job will involve finishing a site that is 85% complete, and the contract will include development, QA, as well as load testing and pushing the site to the production servers.

We’re looking for someone who has a proven track record hand coding PHP/mySQL, CSS, and Javascript. The right person will understand internet video encoding issues, and will have an ability to debug and complete existing code as well as create new modules. The work will be done in a WAMP environment, and migrated to Linux upon completion.

This is not a “learn on the job” situation. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate expertise and provide code samples and references which will be checked.

We are only looking for persons living in the New York City area. We will not consider development firms, agencies, or those living outside the United States.

Fluency in English is essential.

Awareness of the performance arts is considered a plus but not required.
