Personal Assistant (mostly telecommute) (Portland/Surrounding Counties) [OR]

I have a $13-$15/hr self-employed contract position for the right person, you must be able to work from home 4-5 hrs/day 2-4 days a week. I cannot guarantee any amount of hours at first, this will be mostly light-duty office work. You will be primarily responding to customer emails, pulling the right info out of correspondence and forwarding it to me in a consolidated form. The hours are flexible, you can choose whenever you work during each day as my customers expect a response within 24-48 hrs. on business days. There will be other simple tasks involved, if you appear capable and sufficient, we can talk about a full 40 hr/week position. There may be at times other simple duties involved, I need someone who has a reliable vehicle and a good, sturdy computer with internet access which is faster than dial-up.

Those with flashy resumes and a laundry-list of references aren’t necessarily bumped to the top of the line, I’m looking for someone reliable, honest, and who can get the work done efficiently. If your days are filled with 5 kids and million other things to do, this position probably will not be the right fit.
