.Net Team Manager (Tucson/Telecommuting) [AZ]

Job Description: Software Company is seeking professional individual to fill the position of .NET Team Manager. Primary focus will be the architect, design and estimation of the project, working with developers to help them technically as well as manage their tasks and working with the client to plan out current and upcoming release schedules, timelines, and decide on directions for the software to go. This individual would provide Improvement Interactive with project management skills and be responsible for managing all phases of the project life cycle.

* Working with a variety of web based business applications and technologies to develop, modify, test, and document simple to complex applications.

* Updating existing programs to support enhanced capabilities or maintain the functional operation of a production system.

* Developing knowledge of the operating environment, programming standards, and system structures and specifications. Adhering to standards and suggesting opportunities for improvement.

* Providing regular status updates and ensuring that deadlines and specification requirements are met.

Experience developing Lower/Higher Level Design (LDL & HDL) documents
Experience developing UML documents
Experience designing systems with the MVC pattern, as well as, other design patterns
Familiarity with Systems Development Life Cycle SDLC
Spring and Hibernate a plus!

Preferred skills: The assigned individuals will provide Improvement Interactive with software design skills and must be fast, self-motivated, disciplined, organized, detail-oriented and able to work independently. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science or Associate degree in a computer-related field.

Proven listening, verbal and written communication; ability to succeed in a changing environment; proven track record working independently and within a team and ability to present information and process feedback. Knowledge of Process Capability Models, Software Estimating Tools and Techniques and Software Engineering Methodologies is a plus! Candidates must possess the necessary skills to understand and follow procedure and process as provided.
