Head of Analytical Modeling and Statistical Rsrch

The Head of Analytical Modeling and Research will provide leadership in developing and delivering statistical modeling and analytics in a consultative role supporting the energy sector.

Job Requirements:

  •  PhD or master’s degree in statistics, operations research, mathematics or a related engineering/science degree is required.
  •  7+ years of experience managing analytical and technical resources, preferably in a research department.
  •  Very high academic achievement (including publications) in a statistics, operations research or applied mathematics subject (e.g. control engineering, modeling & optimization theory).
  •  Professional usage of Matlab, R, SAS, and SQL.
  •  Experience presenting research papers/materials to both a technical and non-technical audience.
  •  Ability to manage remote teams. Travel of up to 25% may be required to attend necessary and appropriate seminars and interact with remote staff.
  •  Communication with international regional office personnel during non-business hours as required.
