We are currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill an opening as Director, Sourcing.  Position is a telecommuter position.

Candidate will be responsible for strategic supplier/partner management, handle our key customer RIM including contract management and negotiation.

Accountabilities include:

FMC Legal and Contract Management
Wireless Design Program Management and GAM organization (the customer interface/customer contract  management).  Candidate should understand terms and conditions given to customers so that T’s and C’s and supply conform.

Requirements

Ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Business coupled with contract negotiation experience.  Knowledge of legal concepts and how they relate to the SW development environment (examples:  IPR, warranty, acceptance procedures, failure analysis, etc.).  Knowledge of the software development process and key aspects of integration/testing.  Understanding of Statement of Work process (development of and management of).  Prior experience with licensing SW and benchmarking capabilities would be a plus.  Candidate should have an understanding of the technical and business selection criteria for suppliers and needs experience with writing legal documents (in English) and understanding the objectives of lawyers for the various sections of a contract.  Plus to have experience in litigation, deposition, contract terminations/settlements.
