We have helped 1,000,000 students at more than 1,300 institutions since product inception in 2002 and are looking for eager and like-minded individuals to join our brainy, creative, and lively group!

The Basic Skills / Developmental Writing Content Developer at [Company] will create new online developmental writing content and shape our writing tools to best serve students and professors alike.

This is an off-site, freelance position.

Specific Responsibilities:

-  Write and review online teaching materials for non-transferrable basic skills / developmental writing courses

-  Work with other content developers to write, review, and edit our online writing materials

-  Be familiar with our current content to advise the sales and support teams on any content-related questions

-  Assist students and teachers by answering content specific questions

Basic Qualifications Required:

-  Master’s degree in English or similar

-  Excellent knowledge of grammar and command of the English language

-  Must have experience teaching developmental or basic skills writing classes

-  Top-notch written and oral communication skills

-  Computer savvy with the ability to pick up technical skills quickly

-  Bright, hard-working, flexible, dedicated, and team-focused self starter

-  Experience working with diverse student populations with varying skills and abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

-  PhD in English
