Content / Marketing Interns at Exciting New Digital Media Startup (Flatiron) [NY]

Position: Writing and Content Curation Interns
Location: Flatiron, Manhattan with part-time telecommuting possible
Intern Position (Part time or Full time)

Opportunity:
[Company] is an innovative, user-generated, digital media start-up with a totally original take on the hyperlocal space. We have several high-profile advisors from the real estate and travel industries and we recently launched a beta site to rave reviews. We even won the startup competition at the Real Estate Technology conference in NYC. We are looking for one or more enthusiastic interns to help us build out content for our site. Your focus will be researching neighborhoods and writing about neighborhoods within major cities, and as such you should be a curious and exploratory person. Additionally, you will market our content by participating in discussion forums and commenting on other relevant websites. Finally, for any excellent writers, there will be an opportunity to write for our blog.

Desired Skills/Knowledge:
- Good at surfing the web to find information
- Active on social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Blogging, YouTube, etc)
- Must be a good writer –able to summarize and synthesize research findings
- Photography skills a plus
- Knowledge and passion for local culture desired
-Local knowledge of Boston, Chicago, or LA a major plus
-Real estate experience or digital media experience a major plus as well
