Client Account Manager – Bookkeeping

Location: Work At Home in Walnut Creek, CA

Full-charge, off-site bookkeeping services firm with over 20 years of experience. We use a variety of QuickBooks applications and other cutting-edge technologies to streamline workflow, reduce paper and overhead costs, and generate customized financial statements and reports. Our focus is on providing the highest quality bookkeeping services, tailored to address each client’s unique needs and comfort zone.

Responsibilities: This position is responsible for managing client contact, bookkeeping workflow and digital files for several clients across a range of industries. It requires working closely with the business owner, interacting directly with clients and working as a team in a telecommuting environment.

Position Description

  •   Process accounts payable, receivables and bill payments in QuickBooks and other QuickBooks add-ons
  • Perform data entry, reconciliations and adjusting entries
  • Payroll processing
  • Prepare Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss and other reporting as required by client
  • Follow up with the client to request documents and clarification
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client questions and ad hoc requests
  • Organize and maintain digital files, including some scanning if necessary
  • Process 1099′s and year end closing

Qualifications:

  •   Proficiency with QuickBooks accounting software a must
  • Payroll experience a plus
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office
  • Must be highly organized, detailed and systematic in managing information
  • Problem solving and ability to identify and resolve issues on a proactive basis
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills

Minimum Requirements:

  • Four year college degree or equivalent experience. Accounting degree a plus.
  • A minimum of three years bookkeeping experience

Opportunity: This is a great opportunity to work flexible part time hours and develop bookkeeping and/or payroll skills, while being an integral part of a fast growing business. You must be able to work from your own home office, however you will be required to attend weekly team meetings in Walnut Creek, CA.

The selected candidate(s) will be tested on QuickBooks knowledge. A background check will also be required.
