CaseMap Specialist (financial district) [SF, CA]

We are a small firm in downtown San Francisco that practices general civil litigation. We are looking for someone with extensive experience using and working with LexisNexis’ CaseMap software. If you do not have extensive experience using this program, please do not apply.

The firm is preparing a case for trial. This job will require 8 hours a day, five days a week, for at least three weeks and probably more. If you are not available 8 hours per day, and/or are not available for at least the next month, please do not apply.

The job will involve taking massive amounts of electronic files/documents and getting them into CaseMap, and coding them, as well as eliminating any duplicate entries in the database for this case. The documents will usually be in .pdf format but may also be in e-mail formats. You must have experience inputting various kinds of documents into CaseMap to qualify for this position.

The coding portion of this job requires some legal knowledge. Legal assistants/secretaries that meet the qualification outlined herein are welcome to apply. The ideal candidate will be someone that has attended law school, but only if that person has experience using CaseMap and specific experience doing the tasks outlined above.

The job will require that you work in the office at least one day a week (Friday) and the rest of the work be done at home.
