Position Summary:
Working with a cross functional team, the Business Analyst will be responsible for consolidating requirements into detailed specification documents and presentations. Most importantly, this position will ensure alignment between business stakeholders and the IT Deliverables. [Company] is looking for someone who has experience in delivering projects within an online environment.
Responsibilities:
- Participating in all projects from conception to implementation
- Responsible for writing Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Design Specification Documents (FDS) , Use Cases, and User StoriesĀ for the Information Technology teams
- Responsible for implementation of changes into the business, including documentation, mockups, and process flows.
- Responsible for managing the user acceptance testing feedback and issue management
- Monitor the outputs and deliverables of projects for quality, in accordance with agreed upon criteria.
Qualifications:
- College Diploma or University Degree in business or technology
- Minimum of 3 years of online business experience, including 3 years in a Business Analyst role.
- Minimum 2 years assisting or writing Functional and Non Functional Design Specification documents.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience in producing Use Cases and User Stories.
- Basic knowledge in data modeling (ERD) and UML.
- Experience working with agile and waterfall SDLCs
- Experience in integrated online applications.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with and liaise between business and IT stakeholders.
- Ability to distinguish symptoms from problems and recommend sound and timely resolutions.
- Well developed analytical and problem resolution skills.
- Applied experience with current, structured business analysis and system development principles, practices and methodologies.
- Definite Assets:
. Experience with .NET.
. Online recruitment background.
. Web Analytics, preferably Omniture.
. BA Certification (CBAP).
