Associate Editor – [Company] (Toronto) [CA]

[Company] seeks an Associate Editor who will maintain the high quality and relevance of its Web site and blogs. Ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of and interest in the multicultural and minority community of Toronto, Canada. S/he has experience managing a Web site or blog, with working knowledge of content management systems such as Word Press and a basic knowledge of search engine optimization. The ideal candidate also has editing experience, and is incredibly detail-oriented. S/he works well with writers (both staffers and freelancers) and other editors to craft high-quality Web content that is timely and widely read.

The Associate Editor is supervised by the Editor in Chief. This position is a part time telecommuting position, is currently un-paid except for performance bonuses and is for the up and coming writer or Journalist that is interested in experience with a reputable company and team.
