JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Appointment Setter

Summary/Purpose of Position:

To call all new leads obtained by mail or existing client list and schedule appointments for Agent to meet with each lead face to face.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The following are to be performed on a daily basis…
- Call all incoming leads
- Schedule appointments for new leads
- Schedule Annual Review appointments
- Keep track of Agent’s calendar
- Confirm all appointments no later than 1 hour before
the appointment
- Keep detailed notes on all phone calls
- Follow up on second appointments and cancelled
appointments and reschedule them immediately.
- Must be available to Agent weekday and weekends via
telephone
- Prepare weekly (or daily if necessary) update report
to Agent

Knowledge and Skills:
- Good phone etiquette, strong communication skills
and articulate use of grammar
- Excellent organizational skills
- Microsoft Office Suite of Products: Word, Excel, Access & Publisher

Decision Making:
- Ideal time for Agent and Client to meet
- Leaving some personal time for Agent
- Appointment Setters work schedule
