This is an opportunity to support the CEO of a fast-paced business acceleration company. Our mission is to help startup companies grow faster and smarter. We accomplish this via training (live and teleseminars), mentoring, and consulting using our highly successful system.

You’ll be dynamic, driven, a strong communicator, terrific project manager, and person who loves helping others grow their skill set and be highly accountable for results. You’ll be a creative thinker and have a gift for interacting with clients, being a “front person” for the CEO and the company overall, knowing our product line and being a champion of it, and most of all, following through with a significant number of details. As our Program Manager, you will know all the key projects the company is working on. You’ll have a great deal of independent thinking, creativity, and ambition. Having skills in the field of marketing and business development is helpful.

You’re a motivated self-starter, a person who is terrific at multi-tasking with exceptional ability to focus and think fast. You want to grow and develop yourself and the company simultaneously.

Key to success in this role is optimizing the time of the CEO, learning her likes/dislikes, “intuiting” how to best execute tasks, and asking tons of questions to make sure you get the info you need to succeed. A perfect fit for those who don’t make excuses and focus on results.

Based on your skill set, the ideal time allocation will be:
40% administrative
40% marketing
20% client care

Responsibilities:
- Support the CEO to optimize her time, get and stay organized (all appointments, calendar, contacts, etc).
- Track the newsletter.
- Setup/maintain infrastructure: Standard Operating Procedures, manual—all aspects of office management.
- Edit/beautify Power Point presentations.
- Interface with clients/follow-up with people who hear the CEO speak.
- Do all mailings/shipping.
- Enter & maintain client lists—get in appropriate format, load into autoresponder in 1ShoppingCart.
- Outlook data entry from business cards.
- Transcribe CEO speeches—or outsource and manage.
- Plan, communicate, manage all aspects of teleseminars.
- Help create and execute client loyalty programs.
- Help create and promote the company and our products and services, including attending 2+ networking events per month, learning from marketing teleseminars, generating marketing programs and executing them.
- Respond to all phone calls from program members within 4 hours, from a quiet and professional setting.
- Al l aspects of client care: checking and completing trouble tickets, resolving and responding to all client calls and emails
- Use your company persona when interacting with our members and prospective clients.
- Ensure all team members are notified of all group meetings/calls.
- Seek out, pitch and book speaking engagements (both free and paid).
- Be on site support for our key 3-day events based in the SF Bay area, approx 5 per year on weekends, 4+ per year on weekdays. Sometimes in other states.
- Support of, respect of, kindness toward our team members.

Requirements:
- AA degree or higher.
- Highly accountable behavior with solid personal responsibility.
- Great at learning new technologies—like 1ShoppingCart, WordPress, and others
- Ability to quickly understand and apply strategy. Ability to work with little supervision. BUT asking for help when needed.
- Deep commitment to personal growth—to being the best person you can be and continually improving your skills
- Must have highly effective writing and verbal communication skills.
- Organization, follow through, take-charge, positive attitude. (No a whiners or victims!)
- Proactive personality with result-orientated philosophy and work ethic.
- Demonstrated ability to accomplish goals through initiative, product management and effective negotiation skills, both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to the success of a team with humor and grace.
- Must be terrific with Microsoft Office and a quick study.
- Long term commitment to this position required (at least one year).

For the next year, we are looking for solid administrative and marketing support…someone who keeps the business humming like clockwork! After success in this role, growth can be in many directions such as Marketing Manager. A Director level and possibly even Vice President role could follow. It all depends on your skill set, what skill set you want to develop, where your passion is, and what the business needs, and most of all… what your results are! We are ALL about tangible, measurable results.

Location of work and availability:
You’ll work at your own home office and come to the CEO’s office in Southern Marin (15 min north of GG bridge) 1-2 times per week for partial days. Ability to work within one’s home environment is key! You will have daily scheduled calls with the CEO as well as 2-3 calls per week with the sales and marketing team

Compensation & Time Requirements:
This is an independent contractor position (You will not be a salaried employee). Your time will be flexible, but will require 20-35 hours per week (M-F). Compensation will start at $20/hr or more, depending on experience.

You’ll be deeply involved in all of the CEO’s business ventures and you will be eligible to receive stock in many of them, once revenue goals are met in 2010. Bonuses and raises will depend on your ability to deliver outstanding results, measured by revenue, customer loyalty and CEO job satisfaction.
